Good Optics are key to helping you be successful year after year. Hunting in the west is very different than sitting in tree stands and waiting for the animal to come to you. Not saying this isn’t a good way to hunt by any means. I spend a ton of time glassing hillsides and canyons. Being able to pick up slight movements or antlers sticking out of a bush could lead to a successful hunt.
I have compiled a list of my go-to optic choices. Now you can spend an endless amount of money on Binos. Not everyone has a budget for those types of purchases so I will list my budget buys first and my high-end models at the end. If you are having trouble deciding the objective lens and magnification I have a link for a great explanation Click Here.
